Like other games in the adventure, action series, LEGO Harry Potter – Years 1-4 retains the gameplay that requires the main task of income, exploring the town of Hogwarts and deciphering conundrums. Along with that is the mission “casting magic” with a series of spells that have been unlocked, players can choose any one magic to combine to create their special magic. In this version, the game has changed the gameplay mechanism with 2 missions: Student in Peril mission and Polyjuice Potion mission. A student in Peril is the task that requires players to team up with their teammates to overcome. The Polyjuice Potion mission is a task that requires the player character to be minimized in mini mode to join the special challenges of the game. Along with with the change in-game mechanics, the game mode has also been changed when online support allows players to participate in exchange chat on the world channel or in their meeting group to exchange experience, help each other to complete difficult tasks. Compared to the original Harry Potter version, the plot of the game has changed quite a lot so that the game will bring you something new and different from the story.
